BT have advised that the connectivity outage was caused by a major power outage at the datacentre that is affecting multiple systems and multiple providers. The datacentre support team is working to resolve this matter as a critical priority.

We faced an outage due to fiber link failure between our wholesale provider and us. We are observing that the broadband sessions are now re-routed to another aggregation router.
Customers are advised to reboot the CPE if there broadband sessions are still down
